September and October 2004. Rocking the D2H (4 megapixels!)
I think it also should remind people that more is not always better. Pretty sure your iphone 7 with 3x more megapixels than my D2H and advanced Apple voodoo magic can not capture these kind of pictures. Though Margaux was never sad during the entire day, I caught this photo of her as she getting down from driving her wood truck which looks like she is sad. She is not. But dam she have the best sad face. :)
Hopefully no one pirates this photo and puts it in a Make America Great Again Ad. When you have 10 minutes to take a group photo of a 1, 2 and 5 year old, sometimes you only get 5 mins before everyone starts crying and that ends the supposed "Perfect Cousin group Photo." I took 7 photos (usually I would take at least 70 for a shoot) before the little ones decided to shed some tears. I thought I did not get a single shot, but after reviewing them later in the day, I saw that I found a Gem: What I love about this photo is that it is perfect, only because it is not technically perfect.
Of Course, most people will like the one below better for a facebook post, but it can't tell a story like the imperfect one.
#21 on Tripadvisor: Staten Island Ferry! What an awesome trip after work with my pal Maulin. At first we were worried about thunderstorms, but it turned out to be a photographers dream. Once we landed on SI, we watched a storm roll through Jersey City and Manhattan with lightning and all. Went to get a slice of pizza at A&S Pizza and on the way home we got amazing sunset colors to complete the night. To experience the full potential of a an RC Seaplane, you need to be out at sea. We loaded the plane up into the boat and took her out 2.5 miles into South Oyster Bay towards Gilgo State Park. Sun setting and watching an expert pilot control the plane... it was pretty surreal.
